This series includes minutes, annual reports, bills and resolutions, and correspondence. The council recommends individuals for promotions in rank and for continuing appointment ( Faculty Handbook , 1984, p.26).

Also includes the records of CPCA committees. These include the Faculty Evaluation & Personnel Action Committee (1970), the Faculty-Student Committee on Tenure (1968-69), and the Subcommittee on Promotions and Continuing Appointments (1972-74).
