Hi Gail,
Could you please forward this to the full Senate (and all the CC folks, too)?
Thanks!
Susanna

Senate Colleagues,
I write to provide some clarification about the Senate Agenda for today, December 12. Last Friday, 12/9, you received an e-mail from Senator David Wills in which
he protested the actions of the Senate Executive Committee and requested that his item be added to the 12/12 agenda. Procedurally, this can be done by
someone moving from the floor at today's meeting to add this item to the agenda. The motion must be seconded, and it is not debatable. The Senator making the
motion must provide exact wording of the motion to be read into the record. In order to pass, the motion requires a 2/3 majority of members present.
In the interest of providing complete information so that Senators can make an informed decision should such a motion be made, I am attaching the portion of the
minutes from the SEC meeting at which this item was discussed, as well as the text of the e-mail I sent on behalf of the SEC to Senator Wills.
I look forward to seeing everyone later today. Please note that OUR VENUE HAS CHANGED. We'll be meeting in the Alumni House at 2:45.
Sincerely,
Susanna Fessler
