Security and Cybersecurity (CEHC) Department of Information Sciences and Technology for a new

d. Review and vote on full proposal program from the College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland 
Security and Cybersecurity (CEHC) Department of Information Sciences and Technology for a new

Reporting out of the findings and recommendations of a joint UAC and GAC committee on shared-
resource course (SRC) and combined degree programs policy; presenting on SRC policy: chairs of 
UAC and GAC Jen Goodall and George Berg; presenting on combined degree programs policy: 
Richard Fogarty (Undergraduate Education and History). Reports on both topics are in Senate CMD 
folder, titled “UAC_GAC_SRC Memo” and “UAC_GAC_Combined programs…”
g. Discussion item on the formation of an ad hoc subcommittee of the Senate as a whole, to include at 
least one member each from ULC, GAC, UAC, CPCA and possibly other Senate or University 
bodies, to deliberate on UAlbany responses to SUNY University Faculty Senate190-01-1, 
“Advancement of Historically Underrepresented Faculty [HUF],” adopted at the UFS Fall Plenary, 
Jan. 20–22, 2022. The suggested reporting date for this ad hoc subcommittee is the penultimate 
Senate meeting of the fall term of 2022. The text of the resolution is in Senate CMD folder, titled 
“190-01-1_advancement…” The UAlbany Senate effort need be concerned with only the first of the 
two resolved clauses of the UFS resolution; the advancement of HUF is understood to include 
recruitment, retention, and promotion
