Dear Colleagues:
The co-conveners of the Strategic Plan team working on the topic “ The Role of Arts and Humanities in the Public Research University " invite you to an open charrette (collaborative, intensive planning session) on Friday, Sept. 30 from 11 am to 1 pm in the Business School Building, room B012. This is not a presentation, but a working, brown-bag meeting. The results of this focused brainstorming activity will inform the white paper that will be delivered on October 7. If you would like to contribute to this effort, we hope you will join us.
If you have any questions about this topic, please contact Danny or Sheila directly.
Sincerely,
Danny Goodwin, Associate Professor, Department of Art and Art History, dgoodwin@albany.edu
Sheila Curran Bernard, Associate Professor Department of History, sbernard@albany.edu

I welcome and appreciate any input you have to offer on this topic. If you have any questions, please contact me at mgallant@albany.edu .
Sincerely,
Mary Gallant
