Dear UAlbany Researcher/Scholar:
The SUNY system is embarking on a campaign to have all researchers/scholars obtain an ORCID id which is a unique, persistent identifier for individuals engaged in scholarly publications, grant applications, etc. ORCID ids are being required to apply for funding from SUNY and other agencies. To learn more about it and how to get it, please register for the informational webinar below.

In collaboration with several of our campuses, The SUNY Office of Research, Innovation, and Economic Development (ORIED) and SUNY Office of Library and Information Services (OLIS) are offering a summer webinar series, Managing Your Researcher Profile and Scholarly Record: ORCID at SUNY . Please join us on July 12 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

This webinar is designed for faculty and researchers. During this webinar, we will:
introduce ORCID ,
how it will benefit researchers,
why and how SUNY System, The Research Foundation for SUNY and your campus are and are planning to support researchers' use of ORCID,
demonstrate how to set up a free ORCID profile, and
share information about ORCID-related resources at your campuses.
