Our first finalist in the search for Founding Director of the University at Albany Institute for Artificial Intelligence (IAI), Dr. Jing Huang, Senior Science Manager at Alexa AI, will be visiting campus tomorrow (Friday, June 30) for a series of meetings and presentations.

If your schedule permits, please RSVP and join us tomorrow at the ETEC Building First Floor Shared Training Room (149/151) for two campus conversations with Dr. Huang:
10:00 AM to 11:00 AM: Dr. Huang’s AI Research
2:00 PM to 3:00 PM: Dr. Huang’s Vision for the IAI
*Each presentation will be followed by a 20–30-minute Q and A. You will have the option to attend in person or virtually on Zoom.
All faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to participate in the Campus Conversations. Your engagement during this phase of the search is critical and we value your input. Feedback provided through an electronic survey issued after each candidate's visit will assist the University in identifying the best candidate for this critical role.
