Congratulations to our colleagues in the Department of Art and Art History on the New York State Education Department's approval of an
updated program registration for our Art program, from a BA to a BS, as well as distance education approval for the Art BS! This
approval approves the update of the following degree:

Art BS (Program Code: 02967 )

Formal approval correspondence of the BS is below and attached are the other program approval's formal correspondence. Also attached
is the approved registration proposal. This approval means that the University and faculty are now authorized to promote the program
changes and deliver it. Fall 2024 is when the program changes will go into effect.

| ask that colleagues receiving this notice, as appropriate to responsibilities, take actions as warranted to update the program listing in the
Undergraduate Bulletin and University administrative systems. Thank you for your support in these updates.
