Subject RE: MS Information Science - Questions

Dear Ms. Sears:
| am writing on behalf of our institution and Provost Dr. James Stellar in response to your inquiry of September 28, 2018, appearing at the
bottom of this message string.
Thank you for your attention to our proposal. Currently we are offering 21 of 45 (46%) program courses exclusively online. The actual
number offered and accessed per term fluctuates with student demand, faculty schedules, and budgetary priorities. It is safe to say we
currently offer more than 50% of our courses online in a given semester, hence our application for distance education delivery
authorization. We obviously anticipate the percentage to increase as we move the program online.

1. 1. Format:

a. a. On page 2 of the distance education application, section 3: what proportion or percentage of the program will be offered in
the Distance Education format a€| Can you please clarify what percent of course offerings are currently available for students
online? Please note that blended/hybrid courses do not count toward the percent of online/distance education offerings.

We ask that you provide the requested information within 30 business days (Tuesday, November 13, 2018). Responses may be returned
to me by email. Please copy your SUNY Program Reviewer Ann Hawkins ( ann.hawkins@suny.edu ) and SUNY program review (
