The University at Albany has approved three proposals to establish and promote bachelors-master’s combined program
pathways, coupling the existing and NYS registered:

1. . BAin Latin American, Caribbean and U.S. Latino Studies with the MA in Latin American, Caribbean and U.S.
Latino Studies

2. BAin Mathematics with the MS in Data Science

3. BS in Mathematics with the MS in Data Science

The approvals and proposals are attached for your reference. The faculty are now authorized to promote and
deliver the newly coupled/dovetailed offerings to students. &

| ask that responsible colleagues receiving this notice, as appropriate to responsibilities, take actions as
warranted to update listings in the Undergraduate and Graduate Bulletins; and University administrative
systems as necessary. Thank you and successful implementation to all involved.
