Thanks, Jon. I just want to be sure that the grad school knows that it'll be 54 credits, not 48 as in the original
proposal. the requirements didn't change but the math did!

Congratulations to colleagues in our School of Education on the final New York State approval and registration
of anew/embedded M.S. Program in Counseling Psychology, to be available (only) to matriculated Ph.D.
Counseling Psychology students. Formal approval correspondence is attached for your reference, along with
the program proposal itself. The faculty are now authorized to administer this new program and make it

available to eligible students.

! ask that responsible colleagues receiving this notice, as appropriate to responsibilities, take actions as
warranted to establish the new program listing in the Grad Bulletin and University administrative

You are absolutely right, Diane! | don’t know how many times | (and others) looked at this proposal. We seem to have
missed the fact that 805 and 806 each require 6 credits. Do you need me to re-write it?
