Dear Dr. Cartwright:

This letter is in response to Dr. Stellar’s communication requesting registration of a Counseling
Psychology program leading to a Master of Science degree to be offered at the State University of New
York at Albany.

1 am pleased to inform you that on the basis of our review the program detailed on the attached
listing from the Inventory of Registered Programs is registered for general purposes under Subchapter A
of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education (Chapter II of Title 8 of the Official Compilation
of Codes, Rules and Regulations of the State of New York) until September 1, 2018. After that date
registration will be extended annually until the Department’s next review is conducted.

New registration is required for any existing curriculum in which major changes are made that
affect its title, focus, design, requirements for completion, or mode of delivery. Therefore, prior to
initiating a significant change in this program, please contact this office.
