High

Congratulations to colleagues in the Department of Communication in our College of Arts & Sciences on the

final New York State approval and registration of a new graduate certificate program in Communication with

distance education delivery authorization. Formal approval correspondence is attached for your reference,

along with the program proposal itself. The faculty are now authorized to promote and deliver this new

program to students.

| ask that colleagues receiving this notice, as appropriate to responsibilities, take actions as warranted to
establish the new (Certificate of Graduate Study) program listing in the Grad Bulletin and University
administrative systems. As illustrated in the proposal, it is expected that enrollees will complete the 12 credit
(4 course) curriculum via part-time study. Thank you and successful implementation to all involved.
