Haworth who was visting the school to speak wah students about free speech on

Just ashe event was about to beg a large group of agitators associated wih the
UUalbany chapter of the Young Democratic Socialists of America charged into the
æevent space, whic had been reserved by the school's TPUSA chapter for ws, ans
aggressively shouted profanities a attendees for soverat hours. UAIbany University
Police Department (UPD) offcais attempted to safely escort attendees, the egarizers,

Maybe you all should read the 1st amendment. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. 1.What you did was not peacefully 2. Nowhere does it say anything about hate speech, not being free speech.

FREEDOM OF SPEECH ALLOWS US TO SPEAK AS WELL. maybe READ the constitution you preach so hard next time, “protects freedom of speech, the press, assembly, and the right to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
we are protected MORE by the first amendment by our right to assembly, petition and speech. you are just mad we freely exercised those rights.

I wonder if they ever considered correlation over causation here… was it a socialist mob or are a lot of the queer students socialist? And a lot of other things. Nice of you to paint a giant protest of easily over 100 people as a monolith. when theres something about a poster about solidarity with trans people maybe that is a unifying reason to show up for our campus community. We are angry. We are joyous. We are beautiful and we are not afraid of y’all’s little tantrum about queer students speaking their mind.
