Background
- Scope and content:
- This bulk of this collection consists of flyers, posters, and programs for various concerts put on by the Music Department. There is also a small quantity of administrative records, including annual reports and correspondence, as well as two garments: a sport coat and a pair of pants from a band uniform. The collection also contains three scrapbooks with photographs, news clippings, flyers, and other materials from the Music Department and the Music Council.
- Biographical / historical:
- The Department of Music originated in the State Normal College circa 1908. As of 2017, the music and theatre programs are combined under the Department of Music and Theatre.

- All items in this collection were transferred to the University Libraries, M.E. Grenander Department of Special Collections and Archives.
