Background

Scope and Content:

This collection consists primarily of paper materials: annual reports, newsletters, surveys, conference and workshop reports, monographs and career-development educational materials. It also contains several VHS tapes on the subject of career and adult education.

Biographical / Historical:

The Two-Year College Student Development Center was established in August, 1968. Its mission was to work with two-year colleges in New York State to promote student academic achievement and career development by conducting workshops, performing research, and assisting with counseling services, career services, and other student service programs. It was renamed the Center for Innovation and Career Development in 2004, and was dissolved in 2008.

All items in this collection were transferred to the University Libraries, M.E. Grenander Department of Special Collections and Archives.
