ASSEMBLY

Monday, May 9, the seventh grade
dramatics club presented a play in ass=
embly entitled, "The Szolen Prince".

Those taking part in the play were
Vilma Tubbs, Nancy Eddison, Jean Dovglas,
Esther Newcomb, Laura Dancy, Barbara Hew=
es, Jane Curtis, Elizabeth Mapes, Eleanor
McFee, “nd Mareen Schermerhorn. Elaine
Drooz announced the play and also played
the music for ite Miss Dershimer and
Miss Warren had charge of the production.

After tho play was over Lois Ambler,
and Barbara Russell played a few selec
tions on the piano,

GIRLS' SPORTS

Last Wednesday the girls of the se=
venth, eighth and ninth grades elected
baseball ains.e Jeanne Selkirk and
Ruth Mart were elected captains of the
ninth grade teams, Miriam polce and hatue.

The boysscouts of Milne High School
seemed to be out shining itself. John
Dyer came off with high honors by wine
ning first prize in the Boy Scout hare
monica contest and Robert Mason won third
place in the bugling contest.
