Tit CHRISTIAS PLAYS

As you all Imoy, the Annusi Cnrist-—
mas Plays will be presented in
aber 6, . Many people are
diligently toward the suééess
presentations. Let's give then
port by having an extra large attend—
ance in front of the curtain that eve-
hing.

It would be a good thing if this
year, there was no saving of svats and
running up and down the aisies, This
looks very bad, especially between acts,
This year let's help everything run
smoothiy and successfully by doing our
parts to make this year's plays the most
successful ever.

BASKETBALL TAKES TH SPOTLIGHT

The Milne team has been shaping up
pretty well for the past week, Tho toan
is already to play ball tonight. Looking
around the spotlight on the basietball
floor our Captain Charles Locke looks
even better than last ycar, The new var-
sity prospects seem to have the spark of
life left behind by the departod sonior
members of the club,

Our first game will be with
Roeliff-Jansen High School of Hillsdale,
The game will be played on the Rooliff~

Jansen court on November 29, This game
may prove a breeze for the Danivwitz

coached men, just as Berlin was one year
previous. Or on the other hand, wo may
find a fight on our hands such as the
Keveny school handed us last year.
Keveny had a small gym and kept popping
fron the middle of the floor, much to
the surprise of the Red MRaiders.
Anyway, our boys are coached to contend
with real competition this year, This
year Coach Daniwitz has specifically
drilled on offensive subjects, ‘The boys
are very anxious to get in action agein.

And not forgetting our J.V., we
have quite an inexperienced squad but we
know they will be out there fighting all
the way.
