On Mondgy aftornpon, yy 15, the
clothing section of tho horf cconomics
dopartmont prosented an oxcollont four-
feature assombly,
First on tho program was a Fnshiof
Quiz. Tho quostiong, which portained to
both malo and fomalo fashion, wore writ——
ton by cighth egrndo students. Tho
judges wore Nancy Hochstrassor, Ruth Van
Gansbeck, and Doris Wyzstaki. Tho
"professor" was Shirloy Russoll, with
Nancy 3Bdison assisting hor, Contost-
ts woro Arlino Polatsky, Wicky
Mitchell, Eloanor McFoo, Billy Sopor,
Phyliss Comstock, Georgo Gordon, Dorothy
Rider, Russell Langwig, June Bailey, and
Dick Bates.
The final score was 95-100, the
boys being the winners.
After the Quiz, many seventh and
eighth grade girls modeled clothes which
had been mado in class,
Roberta Smith played a piano solo,
and thon the most hilarious event of tho
aftornoon took place, "Boys! Ideas of a
Fashion Show." Tho malo modcls wero:

Dear Diary,
The Boys! Cooking Club has been ma-
king ham sandwiches. We the
fellows will keep thei recipe all
tucked away in their little cook books
for use later on in live,
Dancing I and [I had a splendid
"vic" dance and refreshments....
Tysing Club, as well as Dramatics
Club, is preparing a play.
During the last few weeks y welve
been having some real spring weather, so
our two sports clubs have been getting a
bit of outdoor exercise. Both % Boys!
and Girls' Sports Clubs played evall
oa the campus in front of iLL
while other members of the Girts! Club
played land tennis, (ic one soomuc to
know who won the softball game between
the boys and tho girls. )
Tast Thursday, the Girls! Sports
Club and tho Sub-Debs played baseball,
Mickey Bal. n and June Bailey were the
captains. Hickey's team won. The score
was 10 to 5, It was a very good game,
More of the clubs should get together
and do things like that,
