CLUB NEWS

The Boys! Sports Club played foot-
Dad. hase the Photography Club looked at
camera magazines. They are going down
to the Albany Camera.Shop some time this
week,,...the Girls! Sports Club is plan-
ning a party,,..the Arts and Crafts Club
is making wallets, trays, clay figures,
and plates......the Movie Club looked at
photographs and movie scrapbooks.....the
Dramatics Club is practising their play.

The Typewriting Club is writing
letters,....the orchestra is getting new
pieces, They intend to start on’ them
this week,.....the Sewing Club looked at
magazines showing new hair-do's,.....the
Game Club played Chinese Checkers....the
Science Club made static electricity.

The Sub-Debs were entertained by
Pat Mann and Midge Wright who gave a
play. They are having a bridge party

this Thursday..,..the Dancing II and III
danced together this week because the
victrola is lost. The Dancing I is do-
ing the block step......the Science Club
is planning a theater party. It will be
the Friday after next, right after
school...... ..the Movie Club has elected
Katherine Shull president, Glenna Smith
treasurer, an¢ Elsa Buttron secretary,
They are planning to sce a movie soon..
the Boys! Cooking Club made chocolate
pudding this week.

MONDAY'S .\SSEMBLY

Inst Monday the soventh grade ws
host to tho Junior High School at assen-
bly. Thoy presented a very intoresting
movie progran under the sponsorship of
Mr, Taylor, Social Studies supervisor,

First on the list was a travel no~
vie on Mexico. This included Mexican
scenery, cities, anusenents, ctc.

Next was a Grantland Rice sports
picture on "Ball and Bat," This was
about all sports in which some sort of a
ball or bat is used.

Iast, a group of pictures, which
everyone enjoyed, were shown, These were
about tho advontures of Mickey Mouse and
his boisterous friond Donald Duck,

PREVIOUS ASSEMBLY

Tho previous Monday. in assembly Mrs,
Crollin and Dr, Betz ontertained us with
very interesting talks on France and
Gornany. Mrs, Crellin, who talked on
France, told us of the schools and othor
places of intorest in France, She sail-
ed at the end of June last summer on the
Normandie.

Dr. Botz told us of the food, trav-
el, and houses of Germany, Everyone
brings food along with then wherever

they go. Bicycles are the popular means
of travel,

COMING ASSEMBLY

The play next Monday will be put on
by Miss Martin's homeroom, The play is
an original one written by Miss Martin,
