HOMEROOM GIVES INTERESTING PROGRAM
Three homerooms combined yesterday
in giving a courtesy program. They
were Miss Smith's home room 129,
Miss Halter*s home room 121, and Miss
Bills* home room 124,
Miss Smith's home room ,ave "Cour=
tesy at a@ School Perty". They showed
the incorrect way to act and then the
correct ways Room 121 gave "Courtesy
in the Home." hey showed how you
should act at a party in a friend's
homes Bob Gilsen and Milla Hall were
the host and hostess for the incorrect
way and Gloria Dreis and Sheldon Bond
were the hostess and host for the cor-
rect wey. Miss Bills* home room pre-
sented "Courtesy in the School", They
showed the way to act in the hall ond
in the class rooms Each program lasted
ten minutes. Everyone in the three
home rooms took pert in the program,
including Miss Smith, Miss Halter end
Miss Billss
Other home rooms are plunning enter-—
tainments for future assemblies. The
ninth yeir sociel science class is
plenning one elso, on the subject of

which the Student Council is plunning
is scheduled for M.y 6. The Council
is still mking its Constitution,
but whether to hve the students vote
in September cr My for their council
representutive and officers has not
yst been decided.

We should be proud of our school,
but we cannot if it is untidy. We

24 to 4, whe line-up for the cighth

and necktie set in a pale blue und
white check. It's rather unusual
and quite smert.

many different colors cnd designs—
striped, flowered, figured, etc.
thet my mind is just one maze of
neckties. I especially liked a
cute one in & pele blue rough crepe.
It was worn by & blond ninth grader.

should, because it gives us the
experience that we will need when
we get older.
