Bernie's preview of the week:
4#*THE DEVIL AND MISS JONES

‘The Devil and Miss Jones’ is a
very Yunny story of a millionaire who
decides to pose as a clerk in his own de~-
partment store to find out why his cmploy-
ees dislike him so intensely. Tho million-
aire, played by Charles Coburn, goes to
the store, where he is ordered around by
the fleor walkers, managers and store de-
tectivos. He meets Miss Jones, played by
Jean Arthur, in his store, He makes a
list of all the people who don't like him
and tries to find out the reasons why. He
is invited to become a membcr of the

Union, and decides to discharge all those
in it. Tobert Cummings is a leader of the

organization,

The R.K.O, picture The Devil and
Miss Jones is very well made le and inmonsely
funny. Tt may be enjoyed by Milnitos ina

Our Money's Worth

last September the students of
Milne paid a student tax of five dol~
lars which included a mid-year issue of
the Bricks and Ivy. We did not receive
this issue as yet, but it was heard that
the material for the magazine has been
compiled and is about ready for publica-
tion. We've been waiting a long timo for
this edition and we'd like it soon, All we
ask is our money's worth,

(continued from column one)

Shirley Baldwin '40 was seen wan-
dering through the halls of Milno last
week, She was home from college on her
spring vacation,

Wilson Hume '38 was also home for
spring vacation last week from Yalo,
