The tea dance which was conducted
Friday afternoon, February 28, in the
gymnasium was a hugh success, financial-

ly ond socially. approximately fifteen
dollars was cleared.

The purpose of this dance was to
raise money to buy murals for the li-
prary. It is planned to have more of

these affairs in the future.

THEN LOSES SECOND BY 14-6

Friday afternoon, the Milne 8th
grade basketball team defeated the Acad-
emy 8th grade, 11-3, Those playing for
Milne were Russell Jones, John Fish, Le-
rey Smith, Robert Stevenson, Guy Child,
Gifford Lontz, Den atwood and Stephen
Knowlton.

On the same afternoon, the 7th
grade lost to the Academy, 14-6. Those
playing in this game were Charles Locke,
Norman Andrews, Donald Jcnes, Jerome
Levitz and Robert Saunders.

The team is planning to play Delmar
Saturday.

HOMEROOM 126 INVITED TO PaRTY

Homeroom 126 has been invited to
Selleck Mintline's home on Fridey, March
13. The party will be from 7;00 to
11;00 otclock.

The boys cooking club began their
semester's efforts with whole meah sand-
wiches and chocolate milk. The boys
are expecting to become expert masters
of the kitchen this year.
