OUT IN THE COLD
We're out int the cold again’ [+
matters not what kind of weather, rain.
or Shine and sometimes snow, we must
go outdeors. Sometimes, too its quite
@ shock,gcoing from a warm building ine
to the cold air. It stuffs up your head
and makes your eyes water, and often you
contrast whet is commonly know as a cold.
As perhtips you may have guessed, I'm
talkiug about the closed doors of the
auditorium. Lvery afternoon something
takes place theie which necessitates our
walking outside even to réach the locker-
room. The doors of Page Hall are lock-
ed. If you knock someone will politely
tell you you can't come in, that tuey do
not wish to be disturbed. But, do they
tell you how to reich your destination
without going outside? Do they give you
a coat to weer? Do they give you a
cold remedy? Ng, some people are heart-
lesse
The girls sometimes may go down!
stairs and through their locker room
However, the boys have no alternative.
They must go outsidee And the piti-
ful part of it is, so must the faculty.
Don't worry, wetve noticed their annoy-
ed looks as they walk around the audi-
toriume
There are two propositions which I
have to offer, One, we could wear oub
hets and coats through school, or two,
come to pescetul terms with the oc~
cupants of the auditorium. It wouhd be
rether uncomfortable to eccept the first
one so let's see whct we can do about
the seconde

TEESE SPRING HIKES
Nothing ;leases me more than seeing
either a croup of Boy or Girl Scouts on
a hike in the woods. It is there, they
learn how to conduct themselves properly
and also to enjoy the full benifit of
the great outdoor life. Not only that,
but they kee, out of trouble, and off the
busy city streets. The outdoors is re-
sponsible ior the bringing up of these

MILNE BC\E 10 COEYMANS HIGH
CREESY STARS WITH 7 POINTS
Crimson and shite basket-
eers met defeat on the Uoeymans High
School court last Friday high when
they engaged the Coeymans quintet.
Milnets
After setting the pace for most of
the game, Coach Ryan's men were nosed
out in the last few minutes of play.
Milne held a two point lead at the chose
of the first period and stretched the
advantage to six points by the half.
Late in the third period, with Milne on
the long end of 20-17, the Junior Var=-
sity went into action and did compara-
tively well against the Coeymans var=
sity until the Varsity returned.
In the closing mimites of the game
the score "seesawed" due to a number
of fo.ld shots. When the final bell rang
it w.s discovered that Milne had made
one less foul point than did Coeymans,
thus a one point victory for Coeymans.
Individual honors go to Creesy, who
chalked up two field goals and three
fould shots for a total of 7 points.
