Includes promotional materials and events records, meeting minutes and correspondence, award files and additional administrative records. Also includes records from the Council of Women's Groups.
- Biographical / Historical:
The Initiatives for Women (IFW) program was established in 1993 at the University at Albany. It assists women students, faculty, and staff at the University at Albany by providing financial awards to advance their educational and professional goals. IFW is overseen by a Leadership Council and various subcommittees.

- All items in this collection were transferred to the University Libraries, M.E. Grenander Department of Special Collections and Archives.
