Background

Scope and Content:

Most of this collection consists of VHS recordings of educational videos produced by the School of Public Health. The collection also contains .17 cubic feet of paper records, including a Faculty Directory, a Faculty/Student Handbook, course materials, and ephemera.

Biographical / Historical:

The School of Public Health was founded in 1985 as a partnership between the University at Albany and the New York State Department of Health. Instruction is provided by a combination of full-time University faculty and instructors with primary appointments at the Department of Health. The School offers degrees at all levels, including Bachelors, Masters, Doctoral, and graduate certificates.

Acquisition information:
All items in this collection were transferred to the University Libraries, M.E. Grenander Department of Special Collections and Archives.
