Background

Scope and Content:

Includes web archives, annual reports from 1961-1971; and brochures. Included are records produced by predecessor offices including the Placement Bureau during the State College for Teachers era.

Biographical / Historical:

The Career and Professional Development Office helps with issues and questions related to work, careers, and applying to graduate school. Services are available to both current students and alumni who have graduated within the past year. The office also works with employers to help them connect with students. The office holds a variety of workshops and programs and provides drop-in hours to review resumes and cover letters. In the 1960s and 1970s the office was called the Career Development Center.

All items in this collection were transferred to the University Libraries, M.E. Grenander Department of Special Collections and Archives.
