TICKETS FOR GIANTS TRAINING CAMP EVENTS ON SALE NEXT MONDAY
Intrasquad Scrimmage Tickets Available on July 20
ALBANY, N.Y. -- The University at Albany's Recreation and Convocation Center Athletic Box Office
will open on Monday, July 6 to handle tickets sales for New York Giants training camp parking, the
Meet the Giants Fan Party (July 29), and the Scrimmage Day Barbecue (August 1). Individual
reserved seat and general admission tickets for the annual intrasquad scrimmage will be available
on July 20. Albany's RACC Box Office is located on the lobby level, and will be open Monday
through Friday from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. The ticket office phone is, (518) 442-3919.
Giants Training Camp parking decals (non-transferable) for all practice sessions are priced at
$10.00, and can also be purchased at all local Stewart's Shops. The daily parking fee is $5.00.
© The Meet the Giants Fan Party, scheduled for Wednesday, July 29 at 5:00 p.m. in University
Gym on campus, is $50.00 for adults and $25.00 for youth (16 and under). Fans have an opportunity
to meet Giants players and coaches, obtain autographs, and join in a prize raffle and other festivities.

Food and beverage stations, along with music, will be provided. Proceeds benefit the Capital District
Student Scholarship Fund sponsored by the New York Giants, Albany Times-Union, and the
University at Albany.
The Scrimmage Day Barbecue, on Saturday, August 1, begins at 12 noon under a tent in the
west end zone area of University Field. The cost is $35.00 per person, and includes a reserved seat
for the scrimmage and a picnic menu, featuring chicken, ribs, chili and hot dogs.
Individual intrasquad scrimmage tickets will be ready for sale on Monday, July 20. Reserved
seating is $8.00, and general admission is $6.00. The ticket price for the August 1st event includes
parking.
TRAINING CAMP NOTES: The University at Albany has a web site for Giants Training Camp which
provides times for all practice sessions and special events and lists the 1998 preseason and regular
season schedule (http://www.albany.edu/sports/giants.html) ... the web site will be updated on a
