Be it hereby proposed that the following be enacted:
I. That the 201 Section of the Student Association ByLaws be amended to read:

201 — Student Association Senate Member Responsibilities
201.2 — Committee Membership

201.2.1 — All Senate members shall be appointed to at least one standing committee of Student Association
Senate.

201.2.2 — All Senate members shall not exceed the number of absences set by their committee chairs.

201.2.3 — The Chairs of the Standing Committees of the Senate shall submit to the Chair of the Senate, after
formal consultation with the Vice-Chair of the Senate, a number of excused absences and unexcused
absences Senators are allowed to miss per semester. Senators must not exceed the number of excused
absences or unexcused absences set by their respective committee chair.

If. That this bill go into effect immediately upon passage in accordance with the Student Association
Constitution.
