- Scope and Content:
This collection includes Ellinwood's lecture notes, documentation on course enrollment for the History Department and East Asian programs, as well as files he maintained on University Senate committees and Phi Beta Kappa.
- Biographical / Historical:
DeWitt Ellinwood was a Professor of East Asian History at the State University of New York at Albany. Ellinwood taught as a member of the History Department from 1962 until his retirement in 1992. He also served as the founding president of the Phi Beta Kappa chapter the University.
- Acquisition information:
- All items in this collection were transferred to the University Libraries, M.E. Grenander Department of Special Collections and Archives in 1989 and 1996.
