Industrial Arts and with painter, Abe Hankins. Moved to New York City in 19
Studied at the New School with Rudolph Arnheim and Louis Schanker; and at the
studio of Robert Motherwell. A member of Camino Gallery 1958-63; American Gallery
1963-68. Fifty-two paintings destroyed in studio fire 1968. In 1969 came to
SUNY at Albany as Project Director, designer for ECC.

Five photo essays on "Our Aesthetic Environment,
screen slide and music presentation created by Jon Henry, designer
and photographer in the Educational Communication Center at
State University of New York at Albany, will be shown Apr. 10
at the 50th Anniversary Convention of the Association for Educational
Communications and Technology, Las Vegas Convention Center, Nev.
The essays were inspired by work Mr. Henry did with Edward
Cowley, chairman of the university's art department, for the latter's
course, ''The Environment As Art.'' The photo essays already have
been used by the art department and the Environmental Forum on
the campus.
