Campus Progress Report No. 190 ~ Readiness of Indian Quadrangle Tower
At the job meeting today, It was the concensus that [ June was still valid as
that date when the Tower would be ready for turnover to the University. in most
respects, the Tower 1s 99% completed, but there stltl are some punch IIst Items,
the meteorological station on top Is stifl Incomplete, and there are some electrical
deficiencies still existing.
The extent’. of these Incomplete Items, however, is so small that with the
current work force, It would seem that the Tower gan be ready eastly by | June.
Even If we accept the fact that some stoppages might occur, certainly the Tower will
be ready enough so that could force a takeover on | dune, If It were to serve any
useful purpose, As the time approaches, this question will probably resolve Itself.
Kikb ITghts have now been energized around the exterlor and trough the
bicycle parking area, Also, cleanup Is In process and they expect to start planting
grass seed around the dormitory next week, The pathways leading from the dorm to the
parking lot are also oxpected to be paved next week.
