SUBJECT: Campus Progress Report No. 181

The one year guarantee period on our Accelerator Bullding has
explred, so Inspection was held this morning to observe whether or not
we may sign off on this structure. The Inspection was attended by repre=
sentatives of the Construction Fund, the architect's fleld office, the
contractor and myself representing the University.

This bullding was one of the better built ones on the new campus
and our Inspection this morning Indicated that full compliance with struce
tural requirements have been met, The bullding is apparently functional ty
as Intended, and the staff that has occupled it for slightly more than a
year have no complalnts to make regarding the structure,

in view of the above, the contractor Is cleared of all respons
sibllity, full payment witl now be made, and complete maintenance of the

facility will now become the responsibility of the University and Into
the future.
