Today, we inspected and accepted the basement areas of unite"E"R"
and "G" in the State Quad, Less mechanical equipment rooms.

The Service Corridor, adjacent to units "G" and "F" was aleo ace
cepted, subject to punch list. eat

Plens to serve Thenkegiving dinner Jn the State Quad were also
discussed on alte. It agpears that this is feasible. We have concurrence
of the Dormitory AuthorLty and the contractor on this effort, including
the rug firm. So far, all. signals look good to carry this one off, and
the Food Service people will have their hands full. to make good on euch
short notice. However, ag usual, they heve plegded thelr full support
aml wlll make good, provided al. other princivala make good on thelr
progises.

A special, short term contract hes been used to commence the
eite proparation for the Planetarium « Accelerator. This work was sterbed
iast week when the clearing waa completed ani has been followed thie week
with the placement of over-burden frem the Indlan Quadrangle on the site
for the Pleneteriua « Accelerator. When this ares le graded and permitted
to stand over the winter, no further cawpaction will. be requived, and york
WLLL ba able to start eaxly next apring on the contract to bulld this
focility. We expect Pinel working dvewlugs to be completed shortly, with
aiverticing und contract placement to occur between now end the end of
February.
