SUBJECT: Rampua Progress Report No. 182

Today we Inmpected and accepted the basements af units CKD and
E-F in the Indlan Quadrangle, together with the entire service tunnel,
We already have accepted the basements of A-B units. This gives us bene
ficlal aecupancy of all of the low-rises, except a portion of the bage~
mants In units GeH, whieh doen't look as though they wlll be ready for
several weeks»

The aeceptance of the aboveementionea areas will enable the
students living on the Indian Quad to have much more freedom of action
and better accommodations, which in turn should make for better morale.
The basements comprise malnty meeting rooms, music Ulistenlng rooms,
television rooms, luggage rooms, laundry rooms and I{nen rooms. This will
also facilitate the Inatailation of tle=In lines for the radio station WSUN.

Maintenance of the above-mentioned areas will henceforward
become the responsibility of the University and by Information copy of
this memorandum, the principals so Involved are being Informed,
