This subseries contains articles, editorials, and political cartoons from the Democrat and Chronicle (Rochester), Knickerbocker News (Albany), Knickerbocker Press (Albany), Times Union(Albany), and other papers detailing the events of and public reaction to the 1938 constitutional convention. Among the proposed amendments detailed are those concerning search and seizure provisions, state and local taxation and bond issuance, welfare and relief provision, the "forever wild" clause, and the rights of organized labor.
