This series consists of articulation agreements and memoranda of understanding between the University at Albany and other institutions. These documents detail joint degree programs, credit transfer agreements, and collaborative research agreements.

This series consists of materials gathered to support the establishment, review, and accreditation processes for academic programs and departments. This includes correspondence with the State Education Department, documentation of State Education Department regulations, reports and reviews of academic programs conducted internally and by external reviewers, letters of intent for the establishment of new programs (including letters of intent received from other universities and colleges), and other supporting correspondence and documentation. Some of the graduate program review materials were originally created by the Office of Graduate Studies, but were transferred to this collection to keep all program review material together and better comply with State retention requirements.

This series contains documentation of the planning and approval processes for new graduate and undergraduate courses: course action forms, responses to course proposals, and related correspondence.

This series documents the day to day administrative functions of the Office of Academic Affairs. It includes correspondence with various Deans and department chairs, planning documents for international programs, budget planning files, space planning and campus construction documentation, Master Plan documentation, subject files that cover different academic departments in the University, enrollment data, committee meeting minutes, evaluation documentation for administrative and other non-academic departments, policies and procedures for awarding distinguished professorships, faculty salary and workload policy documentation, assessment policy documentation, survey responses, and student employee policy documentation. A vast majority of the materials in the series are textual: correspondence, reports, minutes, etc. Additionally, there are a couple of folders that contain CDs and a box that contains 8-Inch floppy disks.

This series is not comphrensive and may not include every program discontinued during this time period.
