Series 8 is made up of audio/visual tapes. There are 5 VHS tapes (1995-1997). In 1995, the League hosted a panel discussion on environmental issues. In 1996, it hosted a public information meeting on financing education and a workshop on the 1996 election. In 1997, it hosted a candidates' forum and a meet the candidates' panel. In addition, the series also includes a 7.5 speed dual track reel of a discussion between Beulah Bailey Thull, the LWVRC's first president, and Mary Stierer, LWVRC president from 1969-71 concerning the city manager form of government, Troy politics and history, the suffrage movement and voter registration. The discussion was for Paul Flanigan's radio show (WTRY) in 1970. There are also 2 UCA60 videocassettes about the 1980 election for Troy mayor. Finally the series contains 3 60-minute audiotapes labeled the "History Project." Taped in 1982, the cassettes are interviews with Ruth Binder, Eva Levy and Mary Stierer, past League leaders.

The items donated by the Class of 1965 include programs from plays and later reunions, class newsletters and event lists, a University Directory and some photographs. Also included is two plates celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Potter Club.

Unless noted, this series contains photographs and postcards taken, collected by or featuring Norman Studer. There are images from the Little Red School House, Elisabeth Irwin High School, Downtown Community School, Camp Woodland, family trips out-of-state, and various New York locations. While archivists, Studer family members and former students and campers have made identifications where possible, the majority of the photographs contain unidentified individuals or events and are undated.

This series consists of spiral-bound stenographic notebooks containing telephone messages received by Senator Ronald Stafford's office.

This series is primarily focused on graduate research policies, office correspondence, graduate fellowship guidelines and Research Initiative memorandums.

D/ART (Depression Awareness, Recognition and Treatment) was a program of the National Institute of Mental Health in which MHANYS participated in the 1990s. The program involved mainly distributing literature and other information aimed at increasing public awareness of the problem of depression. For example, MHANYS prepared a translation of an already existing booklet on depression into Russian and distributed it to Russian-speaking people in New York State. This series mainly consists of literature prepared by the National Institute of Mental Health on Depression, and correspondence regarding the "Community Partners" national conferences of D/ART participants.

This series contains program information, bibliographies and later reading materials relating to the Conferences on Organization and Methods (hereafter O&M). Murray Nathan was the Director of the Office of Planning & Procedures in the New York State Department of Health.[63] The first state organizational unit devoted to the examination of methods and procedures was established within the State Insurance Fund in 1935, The Office of Planning and Procedures was established in the New York State Department of Health on April 16, 1946, following the example of other state agencies.[64] Murray Nathan was also a member of the Professional Training Committee of the Capital District Chapter of the American Society of Public Administration (ASPA).[65] The first O & M Program was organized by the New York State Management Improvement Branch, Bureau of the Budget, in cooperation with the Inter-Departmental Committee on Organization & Methods Staff Improvement in October 1946. The first program series was offered October 25-November 8, 1946.[66] The first nine O&M conferences were New York conferences; while the "O&M I O" folder contains information concerning the Interagency Records Conference conducted by the National Archives in 1949-50. Additional information regarding the Capital District Chapter of ASPA is contained in the records of the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA), Empire State Capital Area Chapter (APAP009). The Capital District Chapter of ASPA was founded in 1945 and renamed the Empire State Capital Area Chapter in 1989.[67] The majority of records in this series relate to public administration and management theory and New York State programs. The "O&M I" folder contains a final examination from the GSPA course "Administration Methods and Managerial Control" from January, 1950. A copy of "Education for Public Administration in New York State (Proposed Program)" written by the Capital District Chapter of ASPA (1953) can be found in the "Origins 1950-55, 1960" folder in Series 11, Subseries 9 - The History Files.

The manuscripts and typescripts are divided into two sub-series: poetry, epigrammatic verse and aphorisms make up the first, while prose writings comprise the second sub-series.
