This collection consists primarily of the records of the Treasurer for the State College for Teachers. Also included are some financial records from earlier iterations of the College (New York State Normal School and New York State Normal College) and records of the Financial Secretary, which succeeded the position of Treasurer. Materials include cash books, budget documents, and correspondence.

Frederick Hendricks Papers, 1709-1891

Frederick Hendricks worked for the Globe Insurance Company of London. During the years 1848-1890, Hendricks collected 164 autograph letters and holographic manuscripts of 18th and 19th century British actuaries, some of whom were also astronomers and mathematicians. This collection includes letters, manuscripts, printed materials, and portraits pertaining primarily to 18 British insurance companies and to the Institute of Actuaries.

This series contains briefs, court transcripts, evidence, testimony, and other materials from legal cases. Manley was involved in most, if not all, of these cases. The cases concern a number of topics, several of which were related to Native American issues. Other cases include Calmes, Becker, Zehler v. Lehnis, and Trzecieski v. The State of New York, in which a dairy farmer made a claim for financial compensation after losing part of his herd to bovine tuberculosis.
