The Western Avenue Campus Site Is Chosen As The New Home Of The New York State Normal College

The Western Avenue (now Downtown) Campus site is chosen as the new home of the New York State Normal College. The Willett Street property and adjacent land plus $75,000.00 were swapped for the Albany Orphan Asylum land bounded by Western Avenue (637 ft.), Washington Ave. (609 ft.) and Robin Street (248 ft.).
