The Department of Women's Studies receives a $15,000 gift to establish an annual undergraduate Women's Studies scholarship. The scholarships awarded for "outstanding performance in women's studies and their overall academic course- work," contributions "to the University and larger community," and "dedication to feminist principles." The first (?) $500 scholarships were awarded to seniors Kathy Fitzpatrick and Nadya Lawson.
