Announcement that the State Literacy Resource Center (SLRC) will be headquartered at the School of Education with the Two-Year College Development Center serving as the lead agency for the consortium. The state- wide program is being developed to aid adult literacy and will be carried out in cooperation with the City University of New York and the Literacy Assist- ance Center. It will be funded by $1.2 million in state and federal grants through 1994.
