U.S. Agency for International Development awards the Center for Legislative Development $2.3 million to help Lebanon rebuild its democratic governmental infrastructure. Assistance will be provided to the Chamber of Deputies, several executive agencies, including the civil service and budget agencies. The center will concentrate on developing information systems that will support rebuilding.
