Alianza Latina or Latino Alliance of the University at Albany, a professional organization, is formed by Latino faculty and staff of the University to “encourage interaction, friendship and growth among our members.” The group aim is to promote “mutual understanding and growth ... [and share] information on educational, career advancement, social, personal, cultural, and political [opportunities].”
