Suny Microsystems Donates A Sun Ultra Enterprise 6000 Server To Cestm

Announcement of SUN Microsystems donation of a SUN Ultra Enterprise 6000 server to the Center for Environmental Sciences and Technology Management (CESTM). Early applications will be for database construction, management and retrieval of archival data, and complex system modeling and forecasting. Specifically the server will be used in environmental modeling by ASRC's Regional Pollution Modeling Group and in forecasting by the ASRC Climate System Science group.
