Center For Social And Demographic Analysis Begins Work On $3 Million Grant From NICHD

The Center for Social and Demographic Analysis begins work on $3 million grant from the National Institute for Child Health and Human Development (NICHD). The grant has been given to 11 population centers around the country including Princeton, Brown, and Johns Hopkins. Center researchers study population issues such as "residential mobility out of distressed neighborhoods; sex differences in the treatment of heart disease; adolescent decision making about drinking and driving; the transmission of anti-social behavior among at risk populations," and more.
