Release of $100 million Master Plan for 10 years of University development. The plan calls for new buildings adjacent to the the Academic Podium, a proposed 75,000 sq. ft. Chemistry building (later the Life Sciences Building), the rehabilitation of the existing podium, and the limitation of auto traffic and parking within 400 feet of the Academic Podium except for service vehicles, passenger drop off, visitor parking, and accessible parking.
