University Accepts Invitation To Join Northeast Conference In Football Beginning In 1999 Season

Northeast Conference (NEC) Commissioner John Iamarino announces that UAlbany has accepted an invitation to join the conference in football beginning in the 1999 season. The University becomes the seventh member of the conference in football which includes Central Connecticut, Monmouth, St. Francis (Pa.), Robert Morris, and Wagner.
