Raymond Falconer Fund Established

1997 February

Raymond Falconer Fund established as a result of a $1 million bequest from the estate of Gertrude Thompson, a retired psychologist and long time supporter of the Atmospheric Sciences program at the University at Albany, particularly of the summer lecture series at the Whiteface Mountain Field Station. The Fund's income will be used to support an academic chair in Falconer's name in the Department of Atmospheric Sciences.
