Announcement of the establishment of the Hannah R.E. and Avery I. Whitney Award for Non-Animal Methodologies in Research, Testing, or Education by Distinguished Service Professor M.E. Grenander in honor of her grandparents. The first recipient of the award is Helmut Hirsch. The initial award is a two-year award with the possibility of permanent funding.
