Howard And Rosalie Lefkowitz Scholarship Established; Other Endowments Added To

Announcement that the Howard and Rosalie Lefkowitz Scholarship has been established by Phyllis Spiegelglas '84 in memory of her parents with a $10,000 gift. The Lefkowitz Scholarship will be offered for the first time during 1999-2000 to students from the five boroughs of New York City based on financial need. Additional donations to established funds were made by Hazel English Ferris '32, Bert and Louise De Angelis Hall '42, and Marcia Brown '40. In addition, an anonymous gift of $25,000 was made to the Program in Biodiversity, the first of three pledged $25,000 yearly gifts.
